About

Hi, I'm Divya. 

Most days you'll find me drinking lots of tea, going on long walks, creating a new piece of art, and rearranging my home.

My family immigrated to Canada when I was seven years old, in search of a more healthy environment for me and my sisters to grow up. I grew up in Brampton and have always been creative. As a child, I would dabble in painting, charcoals, and really anything I could do with my hands. 

During my undergrad studies and travels, I picked up photography. While I was in grad school, I launched my first business capturing lifestyle sessions & weddings.

How It Started

I live in Toronto, Ontario with my fiancé Brendan. 

We're getting married later this year and I was looking for modern & minimal tees or sweatshirts for myself and the bridal party. After looking at a number of online retailers, I didn't find anything that suited my style. So I decided to create my own designs and share them with all of you. I founded Shop Div Designs in March 2021. 

What We Do

I create designs for lifestyle and wedding apparel, with a focus on elevating every day with our embroidered designs. 

All of the designs are created by myself and our products are produced and shipped locally here in Canada and in the US. Depending on where you order your product to be delivered, it will be locally produced, reducing our environmental impact & supporting your local economy. 

We believe in diversity and inclusion, and offer products that are unisex and gender neutral. I hope that the designs I create bring joy to your life.
